A user status is a setting you choose in the PATLive Flex app that tells your receptionists how to handle your calls. Options like Available, Do Not Disturb, or In a Meeting let you stay in control of your call flow throughout the day.

Your user status guides our live receptionists on whether to transfer a call, take a message, or route the call elsewhere. Each status can have custom instructions based on your preferences.

Statuses themselves are fixed, but you can fully customize the call-handling instructions for each one. For example, “Out of Office” could route calls to a colleague, voicemail, or just take a message—it’s entirely up to you.

You can update your status instantly through the PATLive Flex mobile app or web app dashboard. Just select the status that reflects your current availability, and your settings take effect immediately.
